What it is

A curved crescent-style heel buffer with a coarse side and fine side on a rigid orange molded body. It is designed for heel edges and curved areas that flat paddles often miss.

Why it works

Flat buffers can miss heel edges because the foot is curved and the tool is not. The Heel Halo follows the heel shape so the abrasive surface makes better contact around the back and outer edge of the heel.

How to use it

Step 1

Remove buildup first

Start with a pumice paddle first if the heel has rough buildup. The Heel Halo is designed to come after the removal step.

Step 2

Smooth with the coarse side

Cup the curve around the heel and use short controlled strokes along the back and outer heel edges. The coarse side helps smooth rough areas after pumice.

Step 3

Flip to the fine side to finish

Flip the tool and use the fine side with longer sweeping strokes across the heel curve for the finishing pass.
